3. Smartfren: champion in terms of latency
Smartfren is behind in terms of speed, but ahead in terms of latency with a score of 37.5 ms. Even though it is in last place, this strong latency performance makes Smartfren the right choice for users who prioritize fast response times for applications such as online games and real-time communications.
Latency describes how responsive a connection is. Lower latency means faster interaction with content. Latency is measured in milliseconds (ms).
31-100 ms supports optimal internet performance with minimal delays.
2. IM3: strong performance in streaming and speed
IM3 secured second place with strong performance in YouTube streaming (81 percent) and download speed of 23.5 Mb/s.
These metrics make IM3 a competitive choice for users who prioritize high-quality streaming and reliable speeds.
The streaming test evaluates YouTube streaming quality by scoring at three different resolutions: 360p (Standard Definition), 720p (High Definition), and 1080p (Full High Definition).
The overall rating is derived from the average of these three tests, ensuring a comprehensive measure of streaming performance across a wide range of video quality levels.
